Among the guests invited to the meeting with Bruce Rauner, a Republican candidate for the Governor of Illinois, was Artur Tlustochowski, CEO of Terra Casa S.A., who, together with members of the Polish American Chamber of Commerce, represented the Polish business and Polish-American entrepreneurs in North America. The meeting was held on 22 July 2014 in the residence of a well-known businessman and philanthropist Arie Zweig in Winnetka in the suburbs of Chicago.
Bruce Rauner warmly thanked the Polish community in America for its support and presented the options of consolidating and strengthening trade relations between Poland and the United States. Poland is the most important partner of the USA in this region of the world. The speech of Evelyn Sanguinetti, a candidate for the office of Vice Governor, was also very interesting. The event was held together with a press conference with the Polish media in America.
In this way, the supporters of the Republican candidate launched a campaign among the Polish community in Illinois and strengthened economic relations with Poland.
