Terra Casa is building a quiet residential complex the NIGHTINGALE HILL Project in the Warsaw district of Ursynow, in the immediate vicinity of Skarpa Ursynowska /the Warsaw Escarpment/ Nature Reserve. The unique location of the project and the atmosphere of the district inspired us to organise an interesting and spectacular open-air event – parade combined with a festival and fireworks display.
On Saturday, 20 October 2012, a large group of artists, musicians, sportsmen and residents of the capital city marched together in the streets of Warsaw to express their joy that they live in the district of Ursynow. Among the participants were the American football team players the Warsaw Eagles, Knights from Sandomierz, an orchestra with a choreographic group, Monster Truck, old cars and fairy tale characters – Princesses and Princes. The passers-by and Ursynow residents willingly joined the Parade, which was broadcasted live by Radio Kolor.
The Parade “I love Ursynow, I love the Nightingale Project” was a part of a day-long festival, organised in the vicinity of the new residential complex under construction. It became a famous event and attraction for the whole district. This day-long celebration was ended with a spectacular fireworks display.
We wanted to do something positive and unusual in the American style for the local community. We know that Polish people love parades and the residents of Ursynow love their district. We are very pleased that we had such a mass response to our invitation and so many people decided to spend this beautiful autumn day with us and with their future neighbours on our parade – says Artur Tlustochowski, Terra Casa CEO and the originator of the parade.
