Artur Tlustochowski, Terra Casa CEO and a PACC member together with
Agnieszka Adam, Managing Director visited Google and Facebook campuses in
Silicon Valley in the southern part of San Francisco Bay in California.
These areas constitute the main center of American IT industry, the center
of innovation and new technologies (technopolis) with outstanding
professionals who set trends in global business and build a new economic
order. Silicon Valley is located in the vicinity of universities and
government research centers and has a large number of highly educated
workers and excellent access to venture capital.
During the Urban Land Institute conference, Terra Casa representatives were
invited by Brian Chesky, CEO and co-founder of rapidly expanding Airbnb
company, to the ULI members’ meeting held in Airbnb headquarters in San
Francisco.
“By participating in very interesting sessions devoted to real estate and
application of new technologies, we had an opportunity to see the most
advanced and innovative projects in the world” – says Artur Tlustochowski.
“We intend to implement some of these solutions in our projects in Poland
in order to adjust them to dynamic social and economic changes and even
stay ahead of these changes” – adds Terra Casa CEO.
The conference was honored by the speech of Condoleezza Rice – the former
US Secretary of State during President George W. Bush administration and
presently a professor of political science, business and economics at
Stanford University, who shared her opinion on the current political
situation in the world.
